Supported not DXVA(DirectX Video Accelerator) for Windows7

Windwos7 using,

Supported not DXVA(DirectX Video Accelerator)

WIndwos XP or Server 2003 by using
DXVA-enabled chipsets that have US15W.
However, the environment is not supported in Windows 7.
In fact [DXVA checker Program] If you check through a program called
VC - 1, H264, MPEG2 and Intel said in the EDC Plan is consistent with DXVA support.
Nevertheless, despite the use should not, come.
The MPC (Media Player Classic) through a program called the play H264 files
[Not Support DXVA] a message will pop up.
In addition we must not enable DXVA
This video is not related to the renderer.
(Already tried several adjustments sangtaeim)
Other third-party video playback program through DXVA will not be activated from the US15W chipset.
Even Windows 7 will not be activated even in Windows Media Player 12.
Why would you want it, come Windows 7 unique problem?

IEGD and igfxtray

Hello!

Sorry if this is stupid question but is it possible to install igfxtray.exe and other services that come with Intel MID drivers over IEGD drivers?

I have a netbook with GMA 500 which I connect to a KVM switch and I'd like to use display Clone and widescreen "scrolling" features but I'm unable to do so with IEGD.

Intel MID driver for GMA 500 is unusable on netbooks since it has serious problems with DirectDraw :( So I had to install IEGD

I've compiled IEGD with dual-display clone setting and picked random DVO device (since I don't know which one is installed in my BenQ Joybook U121) and it detects my external monitor but cloning does not seem to work after system boot. At same time, I can use the external monitor to extend my desktop using Windows display settings. Does it mean that I've picked sDVO device correctly?

Question regarding US15W datasheet

Hello!

I have a question regarding the US15W datasheet (Intel DOC 319537).

In table 31, on pages 205 and 206, there is a "Config Register" mentioned multiple times. Although searching now for several hours within many documents, I can't find out where and what this "Config Register" is.

For example, in the second row of the table mentioned above, there is the folowing sentence: "Bit 3 in Config Register determines if cycle passed through to 8042 and if SMI# generated."

What is this Config Register, and how can we change it?

IEGD 10.2 Linux support on US15L

Hello,

IEGD 10.2 drivers are working fine on Poulsbo US15W (graphics device ID 8108) with Linux 2.6.31 and Xorg 1.6, but it looks like it is lacking support for Poulsbo US15L (graphics device ID 8109), which is used on some MID devices.

It looks straightforward to add support in the open-source kernel part of IEGD, but the Xorg driver is proprietary and can't be modified.

Does Intel plan to introduce US15L support in IEGD drivers?

Intel ULV celeron 650Mhz Processor Supporting Devices

HI ,

We have designed a SBC using ULV celeron 650 Mhz (NK80530VY650256SL7UJ )

We has used 82815E & 82801BA as North & south bridge.

Now , we have a production volume coming up . My distributor says 82815E is EOL .

Where as the processor is still Active . The supporting device for this processor is 82815E only as per Intel website.

Request the Intel technical team to suggest equivalent to North Bridge & south Bridge device from Intel from ULV celeron 650 Mhz processor NK80530VY650256SL7UJ .

IEGD 10.1/10.2 with Ubuntu 9.04 & SuSE 11.0 on US15W works, now some questions

Hello all,

at last, I finally made the IEGD running on my Atom+US15W platform. I want to summarize the problems I had under linux here, hoping it helps to improve the package build process and install scripts for the IEGD CED.

1.) the iegd_mod.ko module

after building this and trying to load under Ubuntu 9.04 I first got a kernel crash coming from some null pointer dereference. I found out that include files like agp.h and drmP.h are delivered both in the kernel and with the IEGD package - with struct typedefs (e.g. struct drm_driver) in different versions, which caused the problem!
For me, it worked after I used the kernels drmP.h instead the delivered one. Wouldnt it be better to use the kernels headers,if they are present? the same goes with agp.h, here I had to change some call like agp_alloc_pages() to agp_generic_alloc_pages().

After all the necessary modifications are not that much, but pretty difficult if not impossible
for non-kernel-developers.

2.) the xorg.conf and *.so files

I built different configurations already, I wonder why the generated xorg.conf is called something like "null\\IEGD_10_1.x", I guess thats from the generating program.
After manually altering and adding some attributes I was able to run my desktop in single and dual head configurations. I can play a DVD under Suse11 with the X.org server version 1.4 but not under Ubuntu with the 1.6 server. There seem to be bigger changes with X.org 1.6 so are older X servers recommended? I used the ffmpeg and mplayer-vaapi sources for DVD decode.

Also I realized some performance gain in the 10.2 drivers, like less CPU usage while decoding.

Please Help - [graphics] Driver Needed [for Dell PC]

I am in need of a driver update for my INTEL(R) EXTREME GRAPHICS 2. I have recently purchased a ViewSonic VA2223wm monitor for my Dell PC running Windows XP and cannot get it into the proper resolution. I've attached the monitor and loaded the software to run it, but I cannot change the resolution to fit (since this is widescreen it is displaying everything really strange). I've tried to change the resolution, but the options in DISPLAY / SETTINGS only go up to 1280 by 1024 (what I need is 1920 by 1080. I'm guessing I need a new driver for my video card. How do I go about obtaining that? Thank you for your help.
